These both are my favorite because they display a classy and old school vibe and are still subtle at the same time. The first one especially tells a story with very little, and poses various questions such as is the figure a vigilante? Is he a hero or villain? This is all gotten across with very little, due to the shape and composition. The second also tells a story in this fashion, and is a reference to a very old French black and white film. It also puts across the story of the man in the moon and how it relates to our planet. These pieces also uses visual hierarchy in the way that I can tell the the street lamp is behind the watchmen, and that the moon is far away from the earth and not nessecarily on the same level.
